All about Hemophilia
You probably already know that blood is the red
stuff that oozes out if you get cut. You may even
know that blood carries oxygen from your lungs
to the rest of your body. But did you know that
your blood is made up of lots of tiny parts, each
with a special job to do? These parts are so small
you need a microscope to see them!
One of the parts of blood is made up of cells.
Your body is made up of billions of cells! One
special kind of blood cell is the red blood cell.
It carries oxygen to your body from your lungs.
Another kind is the white blood cell. They defend
your body against infections and help keep you
healthy.
