All about Hemophilia

Cells aren't the only part of your blood. Blood also contains a yellow-colored fluid called plasma. Plasma contains lots of proteins, molecules that are a necessary part of all life processes. Proteins are responsible for all growth and maintenance of your body. There are lots of kinds of proteins aaaand each has a special job.

There is a group of proteins, called clotting factors, that help your body form a scab, also called a clot, when a blood vessel breaks and blood starts to leak out.
